Add solid supporting plays like Crosswinds Golf Club near the airport and the Sterling Links of Savannah Quarters to the west, and you have a legitimate long weekend of golf without repeating a tee time.

What separates Savannah from every other golf stop is what happens after the round. This is one of the few cities in America where you can stroll the Historic District with a drink in hand, wandering 22 squares laid out in 1733, past ghost tours, River Street, and a food scene that runs from James Beard winners to boarding house fried chicken. Your non-golfing travel partner will not just tolerate this trip. They may plan the next one.
