Description
The City of Griffin will be closing the Maple Drive Bridge starting June 12 through August 9 this summer for its demolition and the new construction. The City of Griffin apologies for any inconvenience or hardship the closure will cause. Due to its age and condition it is necessary to replace the existing infrastructure to ensure safe vehicular traffic movement on Maple Drive.
See the schedule of events and the time frame of the construction to be completed on the following chart. This schedule demonstrates an earlier date of completion but for the publics planning purposes we have an opening date of August 9 th . The bridge could be open sooner than the 9 th if construction is completed earlier.
