Description
Stone Creek Golf Community is located in Valdosta, Georgia. For a period of seventy years, the sprawling tract of land now known as Stone Creek Golf Community was a purebred cattle ranch owned and operated by H. Young Tillman.
In past decades, cattle ranch clients would arrive onsite to purchase cattle and they would often remark, "This cattle ranch would make a great golf course!" That dream of developing a world-class golf course in Valdosta, Georgia became a reality in 1991, when development of Stone Creek Golf Course was undertaken by H. Young Tillman, III, Sara Tillman, and Jeanette Cole.
Today, Stone Creek Golf Course is a world-class, semi-private golf course. The golf course is an eighteen-hole course, winding its way through a figure eight of waterways and undulating hills. The golf course remains largely natural, consisting of more than 800 acres of pristine woodlands and gently rolling meadows. The golf course plays 6707 total yards.
